Shirley Ogolla conducts research at the Humboldt Institute for Internet & Society on the use of AI applications in knowledge-intensive organizations. Far from the academic ivory tower, she passionately translates her academic work with her art collective into interactive art installations for the general public. The collaboration resulted in awards from the BMBF and the German Informatics Society as AI Newcomer 2019, as well as an affiliation at metalab at Harvard University.
