Nikolas Becker is a policy and society officer at the German Informatics Society (GI) and leads the interdisciplinary research consortium "ExamAI - AI Testing and Auditing". In the course of his academic work, he focused in particular on the international political economy of intangible goods and Internet governance. After receiving his M.A. in Political Science (University of Potsdam, UCSD), he worked as a product manager for the Open Knowledge Foundation International. From 2011-2016, he was a member of the Executive Board of Wikimedia Deutschland - Gesellschaft zur Förderung des freien Wissens e.V..
