Drew Hemment is Chancellors Fellow and Reader at Edinburgh Futures Institute and Edinburgh College of Art at the University of Edinburgh. He leads the Experiential AI research theme and cluster, in which artists and scientists collaborate on paradigms for fair, responsible and transparent AI, and The New Real, an initiative with Edinburgh's Festivals and The Alan Turing Institute, to showcase the creative potential of AI, and support resilience and recovery in the arts and creative industries. Drew founded FutureEverything in 1995, and recent projects include the GROW Observatory.
