Razvan Ionescu

In 2014 I graduated as a BEng from Coventry University, UK, in Computer Hardware and Software Engineering. I was introduced to the fields of Machine Learning and AI while I was attempting a PhD between 2014-2016, from Coventry University, UK. After leaving the PhD programme, it took several years before I was again working in this field professionally, as a Microsoft Support Engineer, consultant, and then as a Technical Lead for the EMEA AI and Machine Learning Support team. In this capacity, I was helping new adopters understand the capabilities of the AI services, how to create their own architectures, and how to start developing their own models. Some of the systems I worked with involved language understanding, semantic analysis, and vocal capabilities.

I joined teams with DerAffe in 2020, to attempt and build an AI curator, using these architectures and techniques. We developed on existing knowledge and models at the time, creating our own solution. In 2022, we showcased A.I. JARVIS through the Bucharest Biennale 2022, curated through AI.

Currently working on improving the decision making, as well as generative capacity of A.I. JARVIS, following current research and commercial trends, and reading more into the ethics of AI influence in human lives.
