Noah Schöppl

AI Governance Researcher and Landecker Digital Democracy Fellow

Noah is a pragmatic idealist. He works on bringing social innovation to the public sector in his role as lead for Public-Civic Innovation at ProjectTogether in Berlin. Noah is also an AI governance researcher and advisor at the ALLAI Foundation in Amsterdam. In this capacity, he has provided policy advice to the European Parliament, the European Economic and Social Committee, as well as the Council of Europe. Previously, Noah has done policy research for the Digital Ethics Lab, the German Bundestag, and the German Federal Ministry for Research and Education (BMBF). He holds a Master degree in Social Science of the In- ternet from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor’s degree in Politics, Psychology, Law, and Economics from the University of Amsterdam. Noah is passionate about hiking, non-violent communication, and systemic change. Currently, he also is developing the project Tech Policy Roundtables as a Landecker Digital Democracy Fellow at Humanity in Action.
