Maurice Jones is a curator and critical AI researcher based in Tiohtià:ke/Montréal, Canada. He is a Humanities PhD student at Concordia University, Montréal, and Artistic Director of MUTEK.JP, festival of electronic music and digital arts in Tokyo. 

His research interests include public participation in the making of science and technology, critical investigations of AI governance, cross-cultural perceptions of AI, and curation for research-creation. He seeks to inspire open and inclusive discourses about technology through his curatorial and academic activities.
