Josephin Wagner studied Communication Science and Economics at the University of Greifswald (B.A.) and Sustainable Economics at the University of Kassel (M.Sc.).

Since July 2019, she has been working at the Research Field Environmental Economics and Environmental Policy of the Institute for Ecological Economy Research and is conducting research on the topics "Digitalization and Social Change" and "Economic and Institutional Analysis of Environmental Policies".
