Jana Nicolas works as a research associate in the Digital Transformation research area in the Circular Economy department at the Wuppertal Institute for Climate, Environment and Energy. 

In various German and European projects, she is working with partners from science and industry to examine how digitization can be used to accelerate the transition to a circular economy. 
For example, she is looking at how the circular economy can be facilitated through cooperation between companies in different sectors and the use of recycled materials in production processes with the help of digital support.
