Fabian Prasser is Professor of Medical Informatics at the Berlin Institute of Health (BIH) of Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin and Head of the Department of Medical Informatics at BIH.

His research interests include the design and implementation of integration solutions and data infrastructures for translational medical research and related privacy and information security issues. A major research focus is privacy-enhancing technologies and anonymization techniques for medical data. He leads the development of ARX, an internationally successful anonymization tool.
