Dr. Luiza Bengtsson, biochemist turned science communicator, went from uncovering communication pathways in human cells to creating new communication channels between science and society. She has trained teachers in science and scientists in Open Science, has organized diverse science popularization events and has facilitated several art-science and citizen science collaborations. In her current position as the Head of Berlin Science Week, she continues to follow her motto: “let’s put more science into society and more society into science!” by experimenting with science communication formats and curating the program.
