Dafna Burema is a sociologist and works as a postdoctoral researcher at Science of Intelligence (SCIoI), Technical University Berlin. Her current work focuses on AI ethics where she studies AI failures and issues of responsibility when creating and developing AI. Prior to her work on AI ethics, Dafna received a PhD from the University of Bremen on the topic of social robots in elder care. She has a particular interest in critical theory, new technologies, and gender studies.
