Bobby Shabangu is a South African Wikipedian and the President of Wikimedia ZA, the South African chapter of Wikimedia Foundation.

He is an activist for free knowledge and has been an active contributor to the South African Wikimedia community since 2012, and has contributed to numerous projects and initiatives in the Wikimedia movement. He is an advocate of open access to knowledge, and works to ensure that all citizens, regardless of their background or access to technology, are able to access and contribute to Wikipedia.
