Sustainability II - Green IT and Crisis Management

Early detection of environmental disasters, improved recycling processes, and more efficient production methods: The use of AI promises to make the way we do business and live more sustainable and to make a significant contribution to climate protection. To ensure that resource-hungry AI systems do not themselves represent an environmentally damaging factor, approaches to sustainable software development and energy-saving AI training are increasingly being promoted in green coding. The theme track Sustainability II - Green IT and Crisis Management deals with the question of how AI technologies can be made sustainably usable during the climate crisis without contributing to the destruction of our environment.
