Prof. Dr. Doris Aschenbrenner is CZ:Professor for "Digital Methods in Production" at Aalen University. Her research focuses on controllable autonomous systems in Industry 4.0 and the role of humans, the "Operator 4.0" in the digitalised factory. She received her diploma in computer science and her doctorate at the University of Würzburg. In addition to her work in Aalen, she co-founded a company and is active in numerous committees, including being a member and subject sponsor in the expert dialog as part of the "AI Observatory" of the BMAS, a member of the Board of Trustees of the Institute for Enterprise Cybernetics at RWTH Aachen University, and a member of the German Informatics Society.
