Lily McCraith

Goethe Institut AI Artist in Residence

Lily is a creative practitioner working across technologies and disciplines. Her work investigates systems, infrastructures and ecologies via active methods of research, enquiry and collaboration. Some current research focuses are in Artificial Intelligence, Mapping and Sensing via DIY tool making and Environmental Evidence. With a background in computing, she went on to study Design at Goldsmiths University and more recently 'Environment as Evidence' led by Forensic Architecture at the School of Machines Making and Make Believe. She is currently an AI resident with the Goethe Institut and RICAIP Prague, a member of the Public Lab community and has recently started working as a Design Thinker at the Satellite Applications Catapult.
